Danny Fehsenfeld
In the few years Danny has been in L.A., he has worked extensively as a singer, actor, and voice-over artist. Recently, Danny starred with Billy Crystal onstage at the Staples Center, bringing the packed stadium to a standing ovation with his song, “God Bless America,” [also starring in the show were Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jeff Goldbloom, and Phil Collins]. This summer, Danny was chosen to be the lead actor in Chrysler’s “$2.99 Gas Guarantee” campaign, which placed him in 8 national commercials . Other commercials this year have included Toys R’ Us [directed by Craig Gillespie of “Lars & The Real Girl], and Prudential Life Insurance. He has also done adds for Sears [opposite TyPennington], Ford, Target, Sony Playstation, Volkswagen, Sylvan Learning Center, IHOP and Comcast [to name a few].
Danny lent his voice to 3 characters in the highly acclaimed, “Lords of Everquest,” which also features Katey Sagal, Ron Perlman, and John Rhyce Davies. He sang the theme song to Steven Bochco’s, “City of Angels,” working with Mike Post, played, “Uncle David,” in the animation series Wonder Kids, supplied over 20 voices to the popular, “Might & Magic,” game series [5 so far], and can be heard regularly on numerous musical and animation recordings. As a singer, Danny’s voice can be heard on recordings behind Celine Dion, Joss Stone, Gavin DeGraw, Brian McKnight, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, Natalie Cole, The Backstreet Boys, Wyclef Jean, and David Pomeranz. He has also performed on-stage with Twila Paris, Kathy Mattea, John Tesh, Steven Bishop, John Debney, Ellis Hall, Michael Ruff, Chris Thompson, and Tata Vega, to name a few.
On screen, Danny starred as Matthew Miller in Brian Belefant’s, “Burning Passion,” garnering 17 film festival awards and critical acclaim [e.g., “Danny Fehsenfeld is dashingly handsome…reminiscent of Live Schreiber”-Anchorage Press]. He guest-starred with Andy Dick and Dominique Swain on The Andy Dick Show and has starred in the films Love Crimes & Other Felonies, Breaking Point, and Galactic Raiders. Danny has also played supporting roles in numerous other projects, including The Young & The Restless. MTV audiences may remember him as, “Michael Faye,” in Al Yankovich’s, “Headline News,” or as the mystery man in Chakha Kahn and Prince’s video, “Don’t Talk To Strangers.” On stage, Danny performed the title role of Andrew in the Blank Theatre Company’s award winning musical Sky’s End [directed by Daniel Henning and produced by Noah Wyle], and Leon Trotsky in Viva La Vida!, at the Hudson theatre. Other L.A. shows include lead roles in John Stother’s Pilgrim, The Spark of Reason, Barefoot In The Park, and Emmy award winning Steven Horwich’s, “4 Lives 2 Acts & A Finale.”
